By accessing Uferlook (via desktop, mobile browser, or APIs), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms, you must immediately cease using our discovery and business directory platform.
2. Modifications to Terms
Uferlook reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted to this page. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. License to Use
Uferlook grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. Under this licence, you may:
- View and browse business listings, search results, and public directory pages.
- Download or print pages for personal, non-commercial reference only.
- Use our search, mapping, and discovery tools for individual local queries.
This licence does not include the right to resell, commercially exploit, reproduce, duplicate, copy, or otherwise use any part of the platform or its content for commercial purposes without our express written consent. We are not liable for any damages, data loss, or issues arising from your use of the platform.
4. Listing Authenticity & Ownership
To maintain Uferlook's directory integrity, all business profiles must comply with the following:
- Merchants claiming a listing must provide valid, verifiable credentials proving ownership or business management authority.
- All profile details (hours, address, contact info, media uploads) must remain accurate and representative of the physical business.
- Listings must not misrepresent the nature, location, or ownership of a business.
- Uferlook reserves the right to suspend, flag, or permanently remove any listing that is fraudulent, inactive, duplicate, or violates platform guidelines, without prior notice.
5. User Conduct & Reviews
We support constructive, authentic, and respectful community contributions. When posting reviews, photos, or suggestions:
- You agree not to post false, defamatory, or commercially motivated reviews (e.g. self-promotion or competitor spam).
- You agree not to upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyright-violating media.
- You agree not to harass, threaten, or abuse other users or business owners.
- Our moderation team reserves the right to screen, filter, and remove any content that violates platform safety guidelines, without notice or liability.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You must not use the Uferlook platform in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Disrupting, overloading, or impairing the platform's infrastructure or servers.
- Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract, reproduce, or harvest data from the platform without written permission.
- Distributing malware, viruses, or any malicious code through the platform.
- Sending unsolicited commercial communications (spam) to other users or businesses.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other user accounts, or our backend systems.
- Using the platform to engage in any activity that violates applicable Indian or international law.
- Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Collecting or harvesting personal data of other users without their consent.
Violations of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
7. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree to:
- Not share your login credentials with any third party.
- Notify us immediately at support@uferlook.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Uferlook uses SSL encryption to secure data in transit. However, you acknowledge that no transmission over the Internet is completely secure. Uferlook reserves the right to disable any account, with or without notice, if we believe the account has been compromised or is in violation of these terms.
8. Direct Booking & Services
Uferlook acts as a discovery and referral platform. We connect users with local merchants and provide direct contact channels:
- Any booking, transaction, or service fulfilment occurs directly between you and the respective merchant.
- Uferlook does not act as a transactional broker and holds no responsibility or liability for merchant service delivery, pricing accuracy, cancellations, or quality issues.
- We encourage users to exercise due diligence before engaging with any listed business.
9. User Content & Licence Grant
By submitting content to Uferlook (reviews, photos, business details, comments), you grant Uferlook a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the platform.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit, and that it does not violate the rights of any third party. Uferlook reserves the right to remove any user content at its sole discretion, without notice or liability.
10. Intellectual Property
The Uferlook platform — including its code, layout systems, design assets, logos, and brand identity — is the sole intellectual property of Uferlook and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without express written permission.
Listing metadata, uploaded photos, and review content remain the property of the respective businesses or content contributors, licensed to Uferlook on a non-exclusive basis as described in Section 9.
11. Third-Party Links & Services
The platform may contain links to third-party websites, mapping services, or external resources. Uferlook is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites. Accessing third-party links is entirely at your own risk. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.
12. Disclaimers & Warranties
Uferlook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranties regarding:
- The accuracy, completeness, or currency of directory listings or business information.
- The availability or uninterrupted operation of the platform.
- The fitness of the platform for any particular purpose.
- Freedom from viruses, malware, or other harmful components transmitted via the platform.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Uferlook shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the platform.
- Errors or inaccuracies in listing content or search results.
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
- Any transactions or interactions between you and a listed business.
- Any loss of data, revenue, or business resulting from platform downtime or technical issues.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Uferlook, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
15. Termination
Uferlook may suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice, for any reason including but not limited to violations of these Terms of Service. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
- We may retain your data as required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes.
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, liability limitations, and indemnification) shall remain in effect.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
