Booking & Cancellation Policy

1. Pay at Venue (Zero Upfront Fees)

At Uferlook, we believe booking local services should be as simple and frictionless as possible. All standard bookings on Uferlook are Pay at Venue:

• No Upfront Payment Required: You do not need to enter credit card details or make upfront deposits to secure your appointment.
• Price Parity Guarantee: You pay the exact listed price shown on Uferlook directly to the merchant at the reception desk during your visit using any payment method the venue accepts.
• Zero Platform Surcharges: Uferlook charges customers no booking or convenience fees.

2. 100% Free Cancellations

We understand that personal plans can change unexpectedly. If you cannot make it to your appointment, you can cancel your reservation with zero hassle:

• Open your booking confirmation link received via WhatsApp or Email, or navigate to My Bookings.
• Tap Cancel Booking to instantly release the time slot back to the community.
• Because no money was taken upfront, there are no refund delays or bank deductions.

Fair Play Policy: To protect local small businesses from holding unused slots, accounts with 3 or more unexcused no-shows in 30 days may experience a temporary 14-day reservation cooldown.

3. Flexible Rescheduling (Up to 3 Times)

You can easily move your appointment to another date or time slot that fits your schedule:

• Allowed Window: Reschedule free of charge up to 1 hour before your scheduled start time.
• Reschedule Limit: Each booking can be rescheduled up to 3 times self-service. If you need further modifications after 3 reschedules, please call the business directly.
• Specialist Auto-Check: The system automatically verifies that your requested specialist or an equally qualified team member is available at the new slot.

4. Punctuality & Grace Period (Max 15 Minutes)

To ensure a smooth experience for all customers and salon staff:

• Arrival Time: Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
• Merchant-Configured Grace Period (Max 15 Mins): Each business configures their arrival grace period in their booking settings (typically 5 to 15 minutes, with a strict platform maximum of 15 minutes). The merchant will hold your reserved specialist and station during this window.
• Late Arrivals: If you arrive past the configured grace period without prior notice, the salon reserves the right to seat the next waiting walk-in or live queue client to keep daily operations on schedule.

5. Customer Arrival & Self Check-In

When you reach the salon or clinic lobby, you can let the team know you have arrived instantly:

• Tap 📍 I Have Arrived on your booking status screen or WhatsApp link.
• Your browser will quickly confirm your location near the venue (within ~500m) and buzz the receptionist dashboard.
• Staff will greet you and prepare your station without requiring you to wait in line at the counter.

6. Verified Reviews & Trust Guarantee

Uferlook protects consumers against fake, purchased, and competitor reviews. After completing your service, you will receive an invitation to rate and review your experience. Reviews submitted from completed bookings display an official 🛡️ Verified Booking badge.
