Dr. Jeff (Yun Fan) Wang holds an undergraduate degree in pharmacology from UBC and also completed his Medical Doctorate degree at UBC. In addition to family medicine, he is part of the Burnaby Hospitalist team and is involved in UBC medical student teaching. He also has a specialized focus and passion for pain management and musculoskeletal pain treatments. He provides this at White Oak Pain Clinic as a co-founding physician.
Dr. Wang has a steadfast goal of providing quality preventative care that is patient-centered. A mentor once espoused the “three A”s of family medicine which are “affability, availability, and ability”. This would encompass being personable and compassionate to patients, being present with their patient’s needs, and being a medical expert when giving sound advice and treatment. These are the principles that pervades through all of Oasis MD and our programs.
